“Would I recommend this course? YES YES YES!!! Ryan did an excellent job of presenting the information so I could practice and use the skills right away in my therapy sessions. I am not a strong guitar player so I was concerned about my skill to play these chords and strumming patterns. Ryan made it so simple and his pace was spot on for my guitar skill level. This course was amazing!”
“This course has really opened up the guitar to me. I’m much more confident about playing chords up the neck of the guitar and playing in different genres. An unexpected outcome of this course is the ability to play modal music as well. This course also, unexpectedly, taught me ALOT about using improvisation with clients as well, something I was not comfortable with before. The material was easy to understand and quick to pick up on. I’ve wanted to learn how to do some of these techniques for years, but could never seem to find someone who could explain it in a way that made sense. It was so easy, I can’t understand why it was so hard to figure out before! I really enjoyed Ryan’s relaxed teaching style. He explained things so simply and easily it really made the material and skills attainable quickly. I can’t say enough how much I loved this course!!”
“This course is so motivating! My guitar skills were good enough, but now I feel like, wow, why didn’t I know this stuff before?? It’s so great and easy to incorporate. A breath of fresh air! Now, I will not be as hesitant to improvise given these keys and chords. I’m also excited to try to mix up the sound of my I-IV-V songs that have become a little stale!”
“This course gives the music therapist so many tools to put in their tool box to pull out and use to meet there clients needs in effective and easy ways. This course re-instilled in me a love for the guitar, and helped me better understand what a diverse instrument it is. I even found discovered a couple other chords that I have never played before. I ignited my curiosity to push my guitar skills and understanding. Honestly, I now look forward to, and already have, used several of these techniques to facilitate my own expression and processing of feelings. I’m not practicing now, but when I do, I am excited to have so many unique tools to use, especially for improvisation!”
