This course is intended for students, interns and professionals who would like to develop or expand a music therapy program in a medical setting.
Meagan Hughes, MT-BC, will focus on creating a successful program that utilizes your clinical strengths as well as those of the institution, staff and community. It will also focus on building a repertoire of best practices of music therapy treatment within an acute care setting.
You will learn from veteran music therapists who have started their own programs with many years of experience working in medical settings. Additionally, it will address how to leverage the multitude of resources available to you to maximize the success of your program.
